Introducing Plein-air Painters for Conservation

Have you ever wished you could do something to help save a precious spot from destruction?

Artists have tremendous power to evoke an emotional response from people. Bypassing politics and opinion, our love shines through our work, directly to the heart of the viewer.

Each special place speaks its own value through the time we spend living and breathing with it in intimate contemplation, striving to capture its essence in our work.

Members of Plein-air Painters for Conservation will be part of an e-mail group to keep each other informed about conservation issues, and will seek sponsoring organizations to publicize our work, so that our only tasks will be to paint on site and post on our blog

If you are interested, contact Aleta Karstad  e-mail: karstad at pinicola dot ca
You can get to know me and see my paintings on my blog.
Prospective members will be selected on the basis of quality and consistency of work. Please send links to your artwork on blogs or websites, or small files sent to me by e-mail.

Hope to see you out painting to save special places!
